OUR vision is

anchored to our history

When the Como Theatre was first constructed in the late 1930s, Preston Street and Como Beach were Perth’s favourite place for family and friends to gather and enjoy the area’s idyllic and bustling riverside location.

It was unpretentious and all-inclusive and attracted a kaleidoscope of people of all ages and cultures who all enjoyed the unique and vibrant village atmosphere.

As part of the renaissance of the heritage-listed Como Theatre, Preston Street Arts Collective has been created.

Preston Street Arts Collective is now the driving force behind the Como Theatre becoming Perth’s premier arts and entertainment destination.
